Victor Yeung graduated with a Master of Management in Community and Not-for-Profit Management from the University of Technology Sydney in 2015 and a Bachelor of Town Planning with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2008. He is currently a Public Servant with the Australian Government and a Casual Producer for the Cantonese Radio Program with SBS.
Previously, Victor was the Office and Events Manager at CanRevive Inc. (a not-for-profit organisation supporting Chinese speaking cancer patients and carers) for over 7.5 years. Prior to becoming a staff member of CanRevive Inc. at the beginning of 2015, he has been volunteering with the organisation for more than 10 years. Prior to that, Victor was a Town Planner working at Ku-ring-gai Council, dealing with development assessment and strategic planning for over 5 years.
In his free time, Victor is very active within the Chinese community. For nearly 20 years, he has been a Program Presenter across all three main local Chinese radio station in Sydney, namely 2ac Australian Chinese Radio, 2CR China Radio Network and SBS. Further, Victor also serves as a bilingual (English and Cantonese) Master-of-Ceremonies for various corporate, community and wedding events; and as a Cantonese Voice-Over Artist for various commercial and government advertisements.
Victor has been appointed as a Justice of the Peace in New South Wales since 2016 and is also currently a member of the Institute of Community Directors Australia (ICDA).
Victor has been a Trustee of Australian Chinese Charity Foundation Inc. since 2015 and is a member of the Management Committee from 2016 to date and is the Funds and Grants Assessment Committee Member from 2022 to date, former Vice Chairman, Management Committee (2018-2021), former Chairman of the Website Sub-Committee (2017-2023), former English Secretary (2021-2022), former Chinese Secretary (2022-2023) and now is the Membership Officer of the organisation.
