ACCF offers annual grants for up to $10,000 to support organisations to respond to priority areas of need in the community.
We recognise that homelessness sits at the intersection of many personal vulnerabilities. As per the Census 2021, more than 123,000 people are experiencing homelessness in Australia. Nearly a quarter (23.0%) were young people aged 12 to 24 years, and 15.8% were aged 55 years and over.
The 2023/24 Community Projects Grant seeks to fund initiatives that support people who are affected by homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
Step 1: EOI by invitation
Homelessness service providers, with preference for grassroots community-based organisations are invited to submit applications for their projects.
Step 2: Full application
An invitation to submit a more detailed application will be sent to services if their EOIs are successful.
*Note that there is no guarantee that organisations will receive an invitation to submit a full application, even if the project meets the minimum points criteria.
