11 people joined the YACCF team to conquer the world’s biggest 14km fun run, the City2Surf. While some members ran and most walked, their primary goal was to raise funds for mental health (the theme for this year’s ACCF Community Project Grant) and foster team spirit. The team included Emily, Heidi, Ivan, Josephine, Jun, Karen, Kevin, Melody, Ruby, Victor, and Vincent.

YACCF, representing the “Young” members of the Chinese Charity Foundation, chose headspace as their charity. Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds and promoting young people’s wellbeing.

We are thrilled to announce that the YACCF team successfully raised an impressive $5,311 for headspace. This remarkable achievement is a testament to their hard work and dedication. The team already has some exciting ideas for the 2025 City2Surf and invites anyone interested in participating next year to get in touch. Together, we make this a fun and worthwhile event.
