On 30th November 2024, the Australian Chinese Charity Foundation Inc (ACCF) hosted a festive Christmas party at Sunny Seafood Restaurant in Central Park, to express their heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers who have supported the foundation throughout the year. The event was an opportunity for ACCF to acknowledge the collective efforts of its volunteers, including our management committee, council board, F&G assessment committee who have been instrumental in its success in 2024. This festive gathering not only celebrated the foundation’s achievements but also strengthened the bonds of partnership for the year ahead.
Words of Appreciation from ACCF Leadership
During the event, Mrs. Cecilia Pak, Chairman of the Funds and Grant Assessment Committee, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the vital role played by volunteers and business partners in the foundation’s accomplishments. Mrs. Pak expressed the Management Committee’s sincere appreciation for their continued support, stating, “ACCF’s achievements in 2024 would not have been possible without your generous contributions. We are truly grateful for your dedication, and we look forward to continuing our work together in the coming year.”
Looking Ahead: 2025 Chinese New Year Celebration
In addition to celebrating the holiday season, the event included an important announcement from Ms. Annie Tang, Vice Chairman of ACCF and Chairman of the Event Committee. Ms. Tang shared that the 2025 Chinese New Year Dinner will be held on 8th February 2025 at The Eight Chinese Restaurant to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Snake. The proceeds from this event will benefit ACCF’s Emergency Assistance Fund.
Ms. Tang also took the opportunity to encourage the continued support of community leaders and partners, as the foundation looks forward to another successful year of service and outreach. “We are hopeful that together, we can continue to support those in need and make a meaningful impact in our community,” she said.
The event was a joyful occasion that brought together those who have played a key role in the foundation’s efforts, leaving everyone excited for the upcoming year of collaboration and giving.
