The ACCF’s legacy fund was officially launched on 20 June 2018 at the NSW Parliament House with the presence of the then NSW Premier, the Hon Gladys Berejiklian MP and the then Minister of Multiculturalism & Disability Services, the Hon Ray Williams MP.
Dr Peter Wong AM, Founder of ACCF, initiated the legacy fund with the motto to “let your loving heart become an eternal blessing”. The purpose is to generate lasting funds for those who are in need in our community.
As a capital conserved fund, income generated is used towards the community or beneficiary groups nominated by the donor. This means donors not only have the opportunity to name the fund but also create a charitable legacy which will benefit many future generations.
At this important occasion, we were privileged to receive commitments from 3 longstanding supporters of ACCF in establishing the St Luke Fund (for youth & disabilities), The Pak Family Fund (for victims and survivors of domestic violence) and The Faith Family Fund (for the elderly, now changed to emergency needs). Over the years, income generated from these funds have been distributed to their respective beneficiaries through our annual funds and grants distribution program.
In 2022, we were overjoyed to establish our fourth legacy fund, thanks to the generous donation from ANSA investments. The ANSA Family Fund is focused on helping the elderly who are in need in the community.
