Eve is a Malaysian Chinese professional who has been a Sydney resident for 70+ years.  A Bachelor of Economics graduate from the University of Sydney, she is an active member of the Chinese community and a key fundraiser for significant campaigns.  A devoted volunteer supporting many charity organisations, Eve has served as Trustee / Advisor to the Chinese Catholic Community, Canrevive, Lions Clubs of different regions, Australian Aged Care, Chinese Catholic Community Homes, and the Catholic Archdiocese of Australia. In 2011, for her services to Australian Catholics; she was appointed a Dame Commander with Star of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, a Catholic order of Knighthood under the protection of the Pope. She is also a loyal member of the Australian Liberal Party, at both national and state levels.

Eve has two daughters, Jennifer and Vivien; plus five grown grandsons; Hans, Denzel, Liam, Xavier and James – her late husband, Hudson Chen OAM was a past Chairman of the ACCF.  Eve has been a Trustee of the ACCF since 1992 and is proud to be a Council Board Member.
