Community Project Grant

Community Project Grant 2024/25 –

“Let’s talk about mental health”

ACCF provides annual fundings of up to $10,000 for community projects that directly benefit those in need in the community.

The 2024/25 Community Projects Grant seeks to fund initiatives that support people who are affected by mental illness.

We recognise that mental illness may be more prevalent than many people think and certain population groups eg First Nations, Women, Lower Income Earners are hit hardest.  According to the National Study of Mental Health and Wellbeing 2020-2022 :

  • 43% of the population (8.5 million people) in Australia had experienced a mental illness at some time in their life
  • 5% of people had a 12-month mental disorder, with Anxiety being the most common group
  • 8% of people aged 16-24 years had a 12-month mental disorder.

We seek to identify and invite service providers, with preference for under-resourced grassroots community-based organisations to submit an application for their mental health related projects. We will support these organisations to fill funding gaps and enable them to initiate innovative project ideas.
