The recent outbreak of Coronavirus has caused a lot of concern, fear and anxiety within the Chinese Australian community. The Management Committee of ACCF has carefully considered the risk and its impact on the health and safety of our guests and volunteers and has regrettably decided to cancel the New Year Celebration Dinner on 8 February 2020. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and very grateful of your overwhelming support of this event.
However, guests who had already made their payments for the dinner can choose the following options:
- Request for a refund or;
- Donate the money to the ACCF Bushfire Emergency Relief Appeal.
The ACCF Bushfire Emergency Relief Appeal that was launched on 12 December 2019 is still in progress and will close on 8 February 2020. All donations to this appeal will be forwarded to The Salvation Army ($2 or more is tax deductible).
Donations can be made via the ACCF website – www.accfnsw.org
