Victor Yeung graduated with a Master of Management in Community and Not-for-Profit Management from the University of Technology Sydney in 2015 and a Bachelor of Town Planning with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2008. He is currently the Office and Events Manager at CanRevive Inc., a not-for-profit organisation providing emotional and information support services for Chinese speaking cancer patients and their carers. Prior to becoming a staff member of CanRevive Inc. at the beginning of 2015, he has been volunteering with the organisation for more than 10 years.
Previously, Victor was a Town Planner working at Ku-ring-gai Council, dealing with development assessment and strategic planning for over 5 years. In his free time, Victor is very active within the Chinese community. For over 15 years, he has been a Program Presenter with 2ac Australian Chinese Radio, presenting his weekly national info and entertainment show in Cantonese to his audience across Australia and recently contracted as a casual producer with SBS Radio Cantonese Program, reporting for their monthly “Sydney Notebook” segment. He also serves as a bilingual (English and Cantonese) Master-of-Ceremonies for various corporate, community and wedding events; and as a Cantonese Voice-Over Artist for various commercial and government advertisements.
Victor has been appointed as a Justice of the Peace in New South Wales since 2016.
Victor has been a Trustee of Australian Chinese Charity Foundation Inc. since 2015 and is a member of the Management Committee from 2016 to date and is the Chairman of the Website Sub-Committee from 2017 to date. In June 2018, he has been elected as a Vice Chairman of the organisation.
