The ACCF Annual Dinner was held at the Marigold Restaurant on 19 October 2013.
On 19th of October 2013, we saw over 350 guests from more than 35 organisations of our community attending the Australian Chinese Charity Foundation Annual Dinner at the Marigold Restaurant. It was one of the most important events of the year that we thank the support from our Patrons and our Trustees and also to report to our Trustees of what we have achieved over the past year.
We were so honored to have the presence of The Hon. Philip Ruddock MP, representing Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon. Tony Abbott, The Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP, Minister for Transport representing Premier of NSW, The Hon. Barry O’Farrell, The Hon. Victor Dominello MP, Minister for Citizenship and Communities, and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Mr John Robertson MP, NSW Leader of the Opposition and The Hon. Ernest Wong MP, MLC.
A total of more than $63,000 were granted to the 19 successful applicants under our annual community funds and grants program on the night.
Funds generated by our auction, special card draw and general raffles were dedicated to the NSW Government Bushfire Relief. Together with donations from many generous donors and community organizations, a total of $42,000 was raised at the dinner.
