The Australian Chinese Charity Foundation Inc (ACCF) was formed in 1990 as a broad based charity organisation to help the Australian community at large. It is supported by the generosity of patrons, trustees and a corporate trustee; life members and ordinary members; the dedication of a Management Committee and; a Council Board (since 2009) – all voluntary members who have worked consistently to achieve ACCF’s aims and objectives and to extend ACCF’s reach to many other charitable organisations.
ACCF 20TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE BOOK
To mark the 20th Anniversary of the founding of ACCF, a 20th Anniversary Commemorative Book was released. It is a reminder of all the meaningful and creative fundraising events in which ACCF has participated and which have involved so many people in the community, including gala dinners, street collections, telephone marathons, walk-a-thons and the two “Festival of Nations” celebrations held at Bicentennial Park in 1993 and Darling Harbour in 1994. Special thanks to the editor, Mrs Monica Chu, for producing such an outstanding memorial of the past two decades.
